Our mission at Deltia is to solve the industry's skills shortage by monitoring, optimizing and automating production processes using cutting-edge AI, robotics and computer vision. To achieve this, we use a network of camera sensors and edge devices that we install in our customers' factories. With this system we collect complex data that gives our customers deeper insights into their production processes.
We are now looking for a colleague with a passion for Linux and computer networks to support and advance the installation processes of our system in our customers' factories.

Your role

You will be responsible for the setup, management and monitoring of a fleet of Linux-based edge devices
Deployment on Edge PC: Execute effective deployment strategies on edge PCs, contributing to the seamless operation of our computer vision technologies
Setup and configuration of sensors: Set up, test, and optimize camera systems integral to our computer vision applications ensuring optimum performance and reliability
You will be responsible for the network infrastructure at all locations, including setup, new construction, and maintenance.
You will perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of all edge devices.
You will also handle the preparation and setup of new hardware for installations at new customers.
Monitoring the entire system landscape will also be part of your duties.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on IT or a completed vocational training in IT
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or C++, and with Linux operating systems
2+ years of professional experience in network administration
You are a specialist in server and network hardware
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in English (German not required)
